F.A.Q's

-How do the garage doors hold up?
Our garage door finishes are unlike the competitors.  Fauxs and Finishes created the concept in 2006 and it has taken Kansas City by storm.  It took about 2 years to develope a system which looks real over the textured doors and will hold up longer than a couple years.  All the products and processes we use are completely different than anyone else.  It can face the sun all year round and our doors will last and not fade for many many years longer than our competitors.

-Do you take cabinet doors off site to finish them?
No, we set up a temporary spray booth on site and finish them with the bases so they are done together, match and are not damaged from transporting. It also keeps the cost down for our customers.

-Can we use our kitchen while you refinish them?
No, we mask off your kitchen from the rest of your home, mask off your appliances, insides and cover all other surfaces that will not be finished.

-How messy is the process of redoing kitchen cabinets?
When we refinish cabinets, we sand and spray in your home.  We spend the first 2-3 days masking the area we are working on from the rest of your home.  We take great care is making sure it's near air tight.  We stop most all of the dust from getting to the rest of your home, but no matter how hard we try, there will always be some dust.

-Can you refinish any types of cabinets?
Yes, we can make any type or color cabinets look how ever you choose.  We can make painted cabinets look like wood and we can take wood cabinets and paint them. There are no limits to what we can do.

-Are these finishes durable?
Yes, we only use the best possible products available and we will not do a finish if we feel it will not hold up to its intended use.  Unlike a painter, we don't use cheap enamels, we don't shop around for the best price to make the biggest profit.  We diligently search to find the best processes, products and ways of application.  We do not use the fastest, easiest and definitely not the most profitable ways to finish cabinets. Instead we have the best looking at the highest quality we know.
